Oliver Barrett IV (Ryan O'Neal), um estudante de Direito de Harvard, conhece Jenny Cavilleri (Ali MacGraw), uma estudande de música de Radcliffe. Um rápido envolvimento surge entre eles, sendo que logo decidem se casar. No entanto, Oliver Barrett III (Ray Milland), o pai do jovem, que é um multimilionário, não aceita tal união e deserda o filho. Algum tempo depois de casados ela não consegue engravidar e, ao fazer alguns exames, se constata que Jenny está muito doente.

We left school at 9:30 am and came back at 5:00 pm.
We took a bus to the uty of setubal and them we boardded an a boat We sailed along the coast of ''troia''. We left am the look out for dolphins. After a couple of hours we stopped for a picnic lunch . We spent docked some time an the beach where we played fotball and hangout he had a geart time!
